Willow, what do want for… ?
Little Willow looked up to her dad, eye’s widened as she place her hand to chin as if to think and replied, “I wonder…” and then said nothing more as she walked away in thought. A few minutes later she came back, busting with energy and excitement, “Daddy, I know what I want…”
Willow’s Dad grinned and asked, “What’s that sweetie?” Willow then offered a list of items; toys, shoes, jewelry, clothes, etc. that she thought would together make a suitable gift. Willow’s Dad taken back by her audacity, laughed out, “Sweetie, what do you need all that?”
Willow thought for a moment, grinned and replied with her best Jane Austin inspired accent, “I wish like every other girl to be happy,” she paused for dramatic effect, “this is my way.” We all had a good laugh. Later that evening, Willow’s Dad considered his daughter’s words, so innocent and true, she was right – like every other girl.
After some discussion with Willow’s Mom, Willow’s Dad set to task to design and build a web-store that not only could help his Willow realize her wonder, but also invite every little girl, whether grown up or still growing, experience some of the wonder that makes Willow such a delight. As Willow’s parents mulled over the idea and tossed around names for the store; it became apparent that web store without customers, especially in a market as saturated as women’s fashion and apparel isn’t much of a web-store at all. And that’s how we arrived at our peculiar spelling of Wunders, it’s literally means wonder with you in it; or as we like to say,
where Wunder meets you
Willow had a hand in the design, she selected the pink and purple colors, as well as the logo. She of course has a say on the product types. While not quite yet CEO of the store named after here, we hope that with your help, she will be soon well on her way.
They say that a father who taught his son to fish showed him how to feed the world. We like to think that a Dad who take his daughter shopping earns a special place in heaven. While that may or may not be true. If a daughter’s love is the measure of such things; then there is one Dad who get’s to experience a little bit of Heaven on Earth.
Willow is a grade-school aged girl, whose amazement and curiosity inspired this store. She’s as innocent and lovely as every little girl her age. She quite honestly, could be the little girl in your neighborhood, and as common as she is; she is still a most remarkable adolescent. Willow has an inexhaustible curiosity about life and taste for fashion and trendy little things.
Interestingly enough, we most like have the Jane Austin stories and the sort of genre that stems from her, “Sense and Sensibility” and “Pride & Prejudice” books to thank for Willow’s proclivities. Willow doesn’t understand the trappings of “society” and has been rather confused on why things cost so much when they don’t cost that much to produce.

We hope that our prices and rewards program will help any girl; whether grown or growing afford what she wants. To be competitive, we have elected to eschew traditional “Consumer Business Practices”; meaning that we don’t re-brand or “white-label” our products. Most of our items are imported at a discount and shipped to you directly from the original manufacturer. Our model is designed to cut out the middle-man and the “snake oil.”
U …the most important part of our version of the American Dream is you. This store offers it’s customers a wide variety of items at prices designed to beat or meet the competition, but we need your continued patronage; so we have set WIWU Rewards; it combines a purchase and referral program to remind our customers that we care about our relationship with you. Also, if you see an item that you think we ought to add to catalog, then by all means inform us. No promises; but maybe, and if it’s a hit, expect our gratuity.

Other than our status as dual nationality household, we aren’t really special in any way. We are like you; a family who prays, loves, and grows together everyday, and some of those days are good and some could have been better. Heck we might even be your neighbor or pass you on the street.
